The next step is to create your first curve.
To do this we use the "Geometry" menu on the right. Select "Create" under the "Action" pull down menu, "Curve" from the Object pull down menu, "Point" from under the "Method" pull down menu, and "2 Point" from the "Option" pull down menu. Next just type in the "Starting Point" and "Ending Point" in the format [0 18 0]. It is usually best to let MSC.Patran attach a default name to the objects you create. You see "Curve 1" below. If you make a mistake the only was to delete anything is to select "Delete" under the "Action" pull down menu and select what you want to get rid of.
