Displaying Strain Data

To display the strain data as a color gradient, ANSYS models were built with Thermal Elements. At each node, the strain value was scaled and imposed on the model as a ficticious temperature.

The scale used for the "temperature" color gradeint is shown below with the corresponding strain:
