                                    Four terms as a co-op student 1996-1998

• Reinforced Composite Science – Studied the viscoelastic and fracture characteristics of wirecoat    compounds. Responsibilities included operating and analyzing data from an MTS hydraulic tester, and a Rheometrics System IV dynamic spectrometer.
• Race Tire Programs – Worked with race tire engineers.  Responsibilities included tracking tires through production, writing and scheduling durability tests, releasing rubber compounds for production, and F-Scanning and profiling experimental tires.
• Tire-Vehicle Engineering Technology - Performed finite element analysis.  Responsibilities included building, running, post processing, and analyzing finite element models of race tires.
• Tire Test Engineering Performance Group – Worked with performance test engineers and gained experience in subjective and objective testing.  Created computer drawings of new testing facilities using CADAM.
