• In class lab demo with MacX:
  • On UNIX: NCSA's Image and XDataSlice (public domain), Exercise#5
    • XDataSlice: Animations, Tile (Tufte's small multiples), arbitrary planes, spreadsheet, and Slicing / Dicing
    • Image: Animaitons, Spreadsheet
    • Color tables

  • On Mac: Spyglass, Dicer and Transform, Exercise#6
    • Dicer (3D): Slicing, Transparency, Solid fill, Animations: Pics to QuickTime.
    • Transform (2D): Selecting 2D slice from 3D data, Spreadsheet-Image, Line Graph, Contours, High Res Surface, Functioning Tufte Small Mulitple.
