A VIRGINIA TECH SITE LIC. DONATION

In short, Sense8 would really like to partner with VT. By partnering, I mean
Sense8 would like VT to become (1)a Beta-Site for our firm, (2) a Sense8
Authorized Developer, and (3) an authorized Training Center. The most visible

way we can show our commitment to helping VT in achieving these goals is to
give the school a donation. My goal is to give VT a donation in the form of a

Site License and all of the benefits and resources which come with this
program. At the center of this would be your Lab.

We have just begun offering this to other Universities on the East Coast, and
we are very excited about hopefully being able to extend this opportunity VT.
The value to VT is about $300,000 in software. The cost to VT in supporting a

site license is $35,000 for the intitial set up , and $15,000 every year
thereafter. Because of the time and resources Sense8 will dedicate towards VT
to implement this program, and because of the details necessary to execute
this effectively-I need your help. If you feel any of the other departments
or students could benefit from having either WorldUp or WorldToolkit running
on their pcs,nt machines, or unix platforms-please consider helping me
approach the other departments or perhaps even your own department.

One benefit we can definately cite to the school is that anyone graduating
with proficiency in either WorldToolkit or WorldUp would be hired immediately
for a very good salary by our commercial customers(Now over 500 companies)
and/or Sense8 itself. This is just one of the benefits we can cite.

If this at all interests you, would you please call me at your convenience. I
can be reached at 301-571-2450. I really look forward to your input, and I
believe once you read my entire email you will see the depth of commitment
Sense8 is ready to grant VT.

Some QUESTIONS I definately need your help on:

What other departments at VT would be strong candidates for donating some
funds towards support make this site donation possible?

Who are some other key faculty who are intellectually keen on VR,
Simulation,Visualization, and Animation?

Who is the Director of Purchasing for the school?

Does VT have any sponsoring relationships with outside institutions or
companies?

If there is anyone else at VT who you think would benfit from reading this
email, could you please let me know ?

Thanks again for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

James F. Blom
East Coast Territory Mgr.
